Well, for one, you could heed the wishes of the admin and not add to the noise by creating a thread about it. She has asked that we flag them to her and not start threads that simply add to the problem.

We all get them. Imagine if everyone one of us created a new thread every time we got one.

Yeah, I got one of those 16 gazillion plan emails today. Like Tony says, delete it and move on. Life is to short to sweat the little things!

That's for the advice all, well not really.

I have to deal with about 50-60 spam emails a day, I unsubscribe from all sorts of things constantly, it is not just seconds. This is one of the few places I'd like to stay a member. I went about 8 years with ZERO spam from Lumberjocks. I have not seen any admin request to flag them, and there is no apparent place to do so, the emails specifically state NOT to reply. My notifications only allow stuff from members interaction. I may need to say goodbye, barring a solution.

3,500 days, 39 posts (10% of which are complaints at this point) and no basic knowledge of the forum. Yeah, bye.

 

Goodbye to you, no loss here. Or delete the garbage and move on. Like others have told you, life is way too short. If you get that many junk messages, maybe it is a personal problem. Maybe delete your email account and start with a new one.

Apparently some of them are a LOT worse than the ones that I get. They seem to be quite life altering actually and can cause you to throw tantrums and stomp around like a spoiled 8 year old.

 

Turn off notifications and change your email address to a non-functioning address. This isn't rocket science.

 

Flag….block…delete….carry on..

I delete the notification at home. Ignore and Cricket gets rid of them before the day is out.

 

Got a spam message this morning and when I tried to find Crickets page to notify her it disappeared. Did not open the spam.

 

For the umpteenth time….Block AND Flag all spam….After about 10 blocks…spammer is locked out…

We were hit hard 5 or 6 months ago??
I was a good soldier and flagged and blocked them as soon as I saw them.

Then I was court-martialed.
Now I just fly by them and move on to the next post.
