Hand ToolsAfter several attempts, I came up with a easier to use shooting plane. Made from a Millers Falls 814 and some phenolic. Can't say if it is as good as a Lie Neilson or Veritas, but it did not cost $400 either :) Yea, most people just hold the side of a standard #4 or 5. I did not like that...

Hand ToolsMight have been made at Disston or another saw maker... 26" long...5-1/2ppi (yes, I counted them) had it in the saw vise, today... File is there in the red circle on the bench... Them's some big teeth, well set, too...tried to get a close up of the Medallion... About as clear as I can...
