i need help with old bandsaw identification/maker name/brand

i just got this and it has no name at all anywhere. the motor looks like it's unrelated. this is a very small bandsaw. only a few feet high. It would be nice to know the name and history but i mostly need info for rebuiding and if the parts are original or rigged…which the wheels look like something was done. maybe ill fitted bearing welded in…i'm not sure. i would be happy with a general information link for this if you think it would apply. this is my first bandsaw so even basic stuff is helpful.
it's very heavy, solid cast (i think) iron frame which is also the shell. it runs but i don't think the bearings are turning and it's just spinning on the shaft. let me know if there's any pics that would help…or info..

on the pic below you see numbers on the parts. this is the underside of the table thingy…there's numbers else where like this and they are the only markings i can find. oh yeah and this used to be a dark blue.

Daniel, you are the owner of a fine Double A 8" bandsaw made in the 30's in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This was their first bandsaw and with their success in the machine business bought up a hydraulics company to diversify the product line. Double A eventually morphed fully into the hydraulics biz, in which they continue to this day. Finding parts for that saw may not be the easiest, but if you're willing to modify (modernize) some parts you'll have a 'daily driver' for sure. Yep, I picked up this exact saw 2 days ago for $50. Dirty, but otherwise works perfectly, he didn't know what he had, too late now, but at least he has fresh free space!!

BTW I determined that the blade for this machine is 54", too long for standard portaband blades for this 24" tall saw.
