I recently received a 10" delta bandsaw (it's a 3 wheel model) and I need new tires for it. Has anyone used URETHANE BANDSAW TIRES? How do they preform …. good or bad? Also does anyone have a good website to find old owners manuals (preferably free)? It's a delta 28-160 and I need to find out what size blades it can use (size and width range).

thanks for all your help

I picked up the same model (28-160) at a yard sale for $5. I was able to get a PDF of the manual from DeWalt:
"
http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?productNumber=28-160#":http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?productNumber=28-160#

The download link for the instruction manual is in the upper right of the window under Downloads.

I recently ordered replacement tires (not urethane, though) from ereplacementparts.com

I've done a few test cuts and the new tires do seem to help quite a bit, particularly with the blade tracking.

Enjoy the new toy!

My 14" grizzly have urethane tires on it's wheels and they do great! Didn't use glue while I install them. And they last long too. I got them from this site: http://bandsawparts.com. BTW, they gave me these direct lines to call: (201)450-9817 ; (201)450-9818.

I downloaded online when I needed replacement for my lost grizzly manual at this site: http://bandsawmanuals.com. Got them for free!
