Go to projects,look at the tags on the left side of the page and click on lathe,turning,etc.Hope this helps.

There are plenty of turner's here, put turning in your ,post title ,and the turner's will come out of the
wood work !!!!! I do some turning ,a question that comes to my mind ,that maybe you could answer ,is Do I need a four jaw chuck ?

 

Hey everyone and thanks for the replies. Just as working on my lathe, once you know the trick things come easy.
I now feel much more comfortable moving around this site. Still lots to explore as time permits.

EJ, I have a couple of 4 jaw chucks and because I turn local wood into bowls and hollow forms I couldn't or wouldn't be without one. For me, bigger is better and I use my Oneway Stronghold for most of my larger work.
