Pretty sure I've seen him in action at the Woodworking Show in Chicago. I guess when you spend the day making reindeer to impress the tourists you get pretty good at it. It still makes me cringe when his fingers get so close to the blade. Gah!
I would bet, if I had to, there was some detachable parts.. Not to mention his guard was a tad too high, for those precise of cuts.. the blade should have had more wander..
I'll let you know what I think if I can ever stop laughing! LOL! I've never seen anything like that in my life. I wouldn't attempt to saw something like that at that rate of speed for my life! I'm with you. I'm sure I'd walk away from that with a few less digits.
