This saw looks amazing. Kudo's to Bosch for joining the movement to make these tools safer. Love the feature set as well.

I just noticed that Amazon says they are shipping now… as are other places. Price is what they said their MSRP would be, but based on their other machines MSRP versus street price, I imagine that it will eventually come in lower than the SawStop contractor.

Hopefully they have corrected the motor armature/commentator problem that plagued their other Job Saws'

 

Why would you have a blade guard on a saw that can't cut you? Most people have removed them because they are a pain to put on/remove, and are often in the way of cutting narrow pieces.
