That error banner shows up…when they are removing a Spammer. Yep, had another one of those pests show up today.. While the Tech (Cricket) was wiping the slate clean, things came to a halt, until she was finished. happened the last few times they removed that Spammer Freak.

Windows 7 and Firefox. no other issues…

Downloaded Windows 10 - didn't like it. Called Microsoft to find out how to remove it, and go back to 7. Had them on the phone to explain - BAM ! - lost everything in my computer, "that shouldn't have happened." My favorite nerd can't even get in. Just sayin.(((

After switching over to 10 from 7, I had a couple of small minor issues getting it going, but nothing major…I've had it now for several days, and it's working fine…Seems faster….It's a little different than 7, but I like it….so far…

I Haven't switched over yet, because I want to let the bugs get worked out,and I'm wondering about a few things, one does anyone have any printer issues or does your printer work fine with win 10?is there any "apps" programs that you had in win 7-8 that don't work in 10?
I have been getting alot of freezing on this site the last few days.(just did it again).I'm using win 8.1 and chrome.

FWIW … I never upgrade operating systems on old hardware.

I was in the software and networking business for about 18 years, and had way too many customer support issues that resulted from them trying to upgrade to an operating system that the hardware was not designed to run.

My first install of Windows 10 wasn't working all that well. I've only got an 120GB solid state hard drive which is fairly full. The original offer said Win10 needed 3GB, so I made sure that space was available. Once the actual install came through, it said it needed 5GB, so I had to scramble to create that much space on the HD. After having glitches galore, I just reinstalled Win 10 using a factory default restore which stripped off all programs that didn't come with the PC. It's working much, much better now. I also now have 41GB of free space once we stripped all the downloads and apps off it. The kids won't like it, but I'm happy!
