Not too long ago, he took his ball and went home.

He closed his website without explanation, leaving behind thousands of broken links.

The site had been a wealth of information, thanks to the contributions of hundreds in the form of historic information, catalogs, photos, how-to articles.

 

And turned downed many offers to take over the site or site content.

 

I saw an explanation somewhere, but I can't remember what it said now. I'll see if I can find it again.

 

I found what I was referring to. I'd been reading a thread on Sawmill Creek.

Thanks for the feedback. In searching I had already come across and read the above links. Last night I decided to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. It's been over a year though. I might just be out the money
