Recently I have noticed multiple projects being posted by the same person on the same day. Sometimes there can be up to 10 or 12 projects at a time. When I Have tried to look up information on the poster nothing is there. This all makes me very suspicious that this is some sort of a scam.

I don't think it's a scam, I think the person probably just got behind on posting and decided to put a bunch up. I have 5 or 6 projects I need to get pictures of, and when I do, I will post them up. Unless the person is trying to sell them, or using it as a means to drive traffic to their own site, I don't know what about it would be a scam.

It could also just be a new member, this happens pretty often. They find the website, decide to join and once the account is set up, post multiple projects they have built in the past, before they were members of LJ. Could also explain why they don't have a profile page completed, yet.

I posted a few projects on the same day last week. They were ones completed over the course of a couple months. I did this because most of my evenings are spent out in the shop, and my camera lives there. Getting the right combination of me in the house with my camera with time to post projects is a rare occurrence. If it is some kind of scam, it's me losing money :). Then again, I did get some pretty sweet hand planes out of the deal…
