When I was knew to LJ it looked at all the projects, but wenn a day later I was trying to go further it wasn,t possible to go back were I was ended. The same with favorits. When I have seen a project for example on page 20 and "go back" I always come back at page 1. Or is there something I do wrong?

Brought to you by the department of repetitive redundancy. I seem to be a little shaky with the touchpad this morning. I can't figure out how to delete the duplicate comment or I would.

Maybe a one minute period after posting when you can retract/delete a post after a duplication or when your brain and/or better judgement catch up to your fingers.

 

I would like to see more classes.

 

One thing that I find quite annoying, and this may have already been mentioned, but if I go into a thread with a lot of replies - when I click the "View all replies" button - it would appear that I lose the ability to respond to the thread, so then I have to navigate backwards to where I have the area to reply to the thread.

I had to test that… sure enough, no place to write a reply.

 

Ability to load pics straight from a phone since I do not use photobucket or the like for pics.

 

I just came across this issue… Search your own comments…. Some folks have several thousand comments that they can use to answer an topic that has been posted in the past; but trying to find that comment is a lot more work than just entering a new one at this time.

 

Add Tapatalk support (better than mobile app, and probably cheaper too)

 

Tapatalk support would be great but I don't believe the site format is compatible.

 

Some of the words I've posted are changed to activate advertising pop-ups. I don't endorse those ads or want them in my posts. It sends the wrong message to whoever reads the post. Think I'll not post for awhile and check out other woodworking sites.

 

I do not know if it has already been mentioned but it would be nice if in the projects page one could go to the middle of the posted projects instead of just the first four pages or the last page. If you are looking at the projects it is a major pain to only skip a few pages at a time. sometimes there are several pages added a day and when you come back and start scrolling it takes forever to get to say page 345.

 

You changed the search function and really limited my ability to separate out the results based on projects, blog posts, forum topics, and whatever else. It's really limited the functionality of the site.

 

I also would like to see the addition of a Sketchup forum.

It could also be cool to add a sketchup library. Not sure how that is, or what it would entail, but could be really cool to be able to collaborate like that.

 

Randy, the page numbers at the bottom would be a mile long to do that. You can type the page number directly into the url. Here's page 870…

However, with projects being added daily, the projects on any give page also change daily.

 

^It would be good if the project page # stayed the same. I have written down page numbers before then gone back to find it's not on that page. Count needs to be reversed.

Jumping to a specific page is quite easy on this form. Just play with the page URL:

For example, if I wanted to go to projects page 45:

Iwud tend to agree… maybe if they used a date number combo like /08052014-3 for the third page of today's posted projects. Which brings us back to dates instead of number of days in forum posts. hmmm…
