For those who have not seen it yet, there is a new option to quote a post in your response.

You will find it at the bottom right hand side of a post.

For those who have not seen it yet, open up your beady little eyes, there is a new option to quote a post in your response.

You will find it at the bottom right hand side of a post. If you even look.

Once you click the quote button simply add your content below the code that appears and your post will look like this one. Losers.

I saw that! .... Thanks!

Wanted to test whether a "quoted post" can be edited, to make it shorter or more to the point!!!

- DIYaholic

So they don t nest, but that s probably a good thing. Also good to know that I can edit the quoted text as well. Don t always need all of what was quoted :)

(Sorry for double post)

Cricket, I would suggest that the quoted name be that of the display not the username to make it easier to track back who said it (or put the display bane in parentheses or something similar). Take Monte's quote as an example, it displays his username which someone may not know but his display name is Monte Pittman which makes it harder to track back. Just a suggestion and something to think about,

It should now be using display names for the quotes.

Currently this is only in the forums unless you add the code by hand. I will see about getting it added to blogs and projects as well.
