Visited Rockler in Cary NC Friday to look at a 10 324TG bandsaw. Very nice store with outstanding staff. Looked the saw over good and decided I wanted one. Asked the lady waiting on me did Rikon go on sale and did she think it would be on sale in the near future. She said they had received an email on a sale and went to find it. Sure enough Rikon salecstarts October 1st. 15% off on several Rikon items. I didn't see the full list but the !0 324TG was included. As I was from out of town they agreed to sell me one for the sale price.
If your looking at a Rikon tool check Rockler Tuesday, you may can save some money.

Rikon may on sale at other stores in addition to Rockler. They may have the same or similar sales at the same time. If you have a different source for woodworking tools, ask them too.

Large tool pricing and discounts are often controlled by the manufacturer. They set prices and decide on when they can be reduced on sale. I used to see the same manufacturer sales at the same time at both Rockler and Woodcraft, for example. Same prices, same sales, same timing.

While the manufacturer cannot dictate absolute prices, they can limit the shipments or terminate their agreement if your store fails to follow their pricing "suggestions".

That’s the way to treat a customer! Good for those Rockler folks.
