Maybe this is already possible, and I'm just not seeing it….

It would be nice if you could do a search on lumberjocks for the tags/keywords and sort them by projects, forums, blogs, videos, etc.

When you do a search, you just get links to every post with those keywords, which makes it tedious to search through the list when you are specifically looking for only blogs, or projects, etc.

Am I missing something? If not, this is definitely something that needs to be added….

It's there. It's not obvious and is buried and you just got to know how to find it

On any LJ page, scroll down to near the bottom under the LUMBERJOCKS PULSE area you'll see an area that will have the word TAGS. Press on it!

Now you have before you a choice to choose several types of tags … PROJECTS, BLOGS or FORUMS.

If you choose a tag, You'll notice that in the left side of that window there are a list of TAGS and at the bottom of that list even MORE TAGS.

Choose a tag from the list.

When the new page appears, look at the browser address window. Note the format of the address.

The key is to add the following:

Lumberjocks.com/PROJECTS/TAG/SEARCH+TERM

Notice the PLUS sign between the words in the search if there is more than one word you are looking for. (All Caps is not necessary … just for illustration purposes)

Hope that helps.

There used to be a more straightforward way, it got lost in the transition and hasn't come back. When one searched for "jointer," let's say, the screen would ask when the results were shown if you wanted to limit by projects, reviews, etc.
