Pretty sure the kreg is proprietary.

 

Just something to think about but your track has to be longer than you piece that your cutting by a fair amount so your saw stays fully engaged in the track through the entire cut. According to Kreg your track needs to be at least 12" longer than the material that your cutting. A 36" track only leaves you with a 24" cut length capacity. If you really wanted a shorter track it appears that the only option at this time is to buy another Kreg track and cut it off.

 

I am going to be makeing some storage cabinets and most of them will be 18" or 24" so that is why I was looking for a 36" track since useing the the 62" one is a bit of a pain for doing the narrower parts
I guess I may have to get another 62" and cut it as you said. I was just hopeing that someone else made them so I could avoid the $99 cost of the Kreg track since it looks like they don't make any shorter ones.
I guess that is the price I pay on the backend for getting the Kreg , but I just could not really justify the higher cost of some of the other saws on the market right now.
Any way cutting the 62" will give a track for doing 24" and 12" both if I need them.
