my back button quit working yesterday 4/2. Still not working this am.

Back button doesn't work in FF or IE. If I go to someones project and try to go back to the main page i have to click the back button three times quick. Its been like that for a few weeks now.

same issue with back button, but right click on it and get a pile of the same thread I'm on, and click on the main site to return.

No probs here. Just yesterday, I installed Firefox and uninstalled chrome. Right now all is good, but, we all know, that is subject to change. Having patience w/electronics is always a challenge.

The upshot is that the ads are messing up that functionality. Install Adblock plus and backspace 'til the cows come home!

RE: Back Button. Mine is fine.

A little "Trick". Left Click on the Back Arrow In the Upper Left Corner (assuming that's what you mean by "Back Button) Hold it there for a few seconds.

A Menu will drop down. Still Holding, Slide your Cursor to wherever you want to go, Release the "Left Click".

You're There!

If you go all the way down to "History" a New Column will open with EVERWHERE you've been in the last Week or Two! ..LOL..

I have noticed that…

If you click a link that takes you OFF the site, like in the Craigslist thread & you click to go back to LJ, YOU DO NOT go Back to Where YOU CAME FROM!! Causing one to Page Page, etc. etc. to finally get back where you were before hitting the Link!

IT is VERY Frustrating!

I had some of the same Charles, windows that jumped and went black…
Here I had the feeling it was my pc, really slow standard laptop, when I restarted it worked again for a while…
Think it can be lack of shared RAM…
Now working for some days.
I use AD blocker, windows and IE.

Back button hasn't worked for weeks, IE, FF, Chrome all the same.
Works fine on other sites.
