Is anyone else having problems with the site besides me?

Ever since yesterday the site is acting very weird. It's hard to explain. It's like it's 'jumping around', 'vibrating', and or 'flashing in the browser'. Sometimes it just disappears except for the very top. No other websites are doing this in my browser. I'm using Windows explorer and 8.1.

I use to use Firefox because I like it but I got tired of Firefox messing around with my security program. They kept asking for me to allow them to make changes to it. I got tired of it and finally said no and haven't used it since.

It's not doing it all the time but enough to make it very unpleasant.

Cricket, ever since I posted this I haven't had a problem with it. Sometimes I use that as a technique to fix something. ;-| Just complain about it and it stops. Seriously though, it doesn't do it all the time, just sort of off and on since yesterday, and only on the LJ site. It's probably some kind of fluke on my computer so don't worry about it. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

You know what it might be? It might be a key that is sticking on my laptop. It's probably something like that. I haven't been going anywhere else besides Lumberjocks where I use my keyboard so much for the last 24 hrs. It could be a sticking key couldn't it?

Yeah, Rick, that's it for sure. It's got to be some high tech problem like a cookie crumb. It's got to be. Everybody knows how many problems that IE has. That's it for sure. IE has no tolerance for cookie crumbs on a lap top. LOL

That is usually MY technique. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have reported something only to have it stop the very moment I hit send on the message. It happens with my truck at the shop too! LOLOL

I have been noticing a "ghosting image" when I'm cycling through the various pictures on a project post, but that's been happening for some time now.

At first I thought it was just my home computer, until I tried it on 2 computers at work and noticed the same thing….

Turn your keyboard over on a table and GENTLY smack it on the table. You will be amazed at what comes out.

jumbojack,

You've got that right….I have to smack mine every now and then to clean out the cookie crumbs, cig ashes, a little dust and dirt, and something I've never seen before…I don't have a clue where that come from…Yuk..
