Found one in what appears to be mint condition on CL and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with this press to offer any comments on it as far as being a great, good or bad DP. Also, what would you think a good purchase price on this press would be?

I purchased a used one at an auction for $75 about a year ago and it has worked great for anything I've needed of it. Used drill presses of similar quality and construction are routinely listed around here for $125-150. If it is in really good shape, maybe $200-250 would be the max I would pay for it. Get much above that and you might as well buy a new one with a warranty.
Here's some trivia. Did you know that Delta made two drill presses with the model number DP-400? I have a vintage DP-400 (aka Model 645) which I bought about 30 years ago. Here are some pictures of a couple of restored Delta DP-400s (not mine).
