Hi Glen, I looked at LV and they only seem to have branding irons and stamp sets that have individual letters and numbers. I'm looking for a custom stamp so that I may stamp a fancy version of my initials in my work. Right now I've been engraving it directly in the wood with a dremel-type tool but my flexible shaft broke and it never did a clean job to begin with.

 

I saw something in the latest woodcraft catalog, but I don't remember if they were branding irons or not.

 

Why would you want to stamp your hand with metal?

 

Thanks Richard, but unfortunately, Woodcraft Magazine is a US production and even though I can get it here, I'm sure most of the advertisements are from US companies. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that I would like to keep my business local as much as possible. If it's not possible, I'll have to go that route.

 

I found a few stamps on etsy.com type in metal stamps. I am also looking for stamps other than letters and numbers. I have found a few like the peace sigh, acorn, shamrock etc…I'm looking for more if you find a good mfg or artist. Thanks Pete

I know you asked for a Canadian firm but best I can see from the replies it is no joy. Here is a stamp maker located in Andover, CT, at least it is close to Canada . Barry does a great job at a fair price.
