you can get them repaired you know…alot cheaper than buying new batteries

 

If you have a Home Depot close by, they have drop-off bins.

Laws vary from one jurisdiction to another … where I libe it is illegal to put them in the trash.

 

in many cases they just need to be shocked to destroy the crystalline build up inhibiting their ability to recharge and theyre good as new. You can find the procedure with a search on youtube,
