I'm not familiar with it, I do know that Brazilian Maple is a made up name for Guatambu. The flooring industry insists on making up more "friendly" names for tropical woods as a marketing gimmick.

It's a wide variety of lengths and widths. All tongue and groove.

 

I don't think that you have Brazilian Maple. The link below shows a Brazilian Maple floor and it is much lighter in color, more like the color of maple. You may have Brazilian walnut which is IPE or Brazilian Cherry which is Jatoba.

I was wondering that. When I looked it up it was clearly much lighter. Was curious if it was stained even though it didn't look that way.

 

That looks like IPE (Brazilian Walnut)? Check the end grain.
