Automatic upload of linked pictures. Views on blog list.

Hi LJ,

Been a while since I made a imput or should we call it a wish list…

First and most important, I think it would be wonderful if you could make a button one could press in the personal settings where all external linked Pictures then would be uploaded to LJ.
This is because a lot of us have old links to our Pictures on different sites and or have used own site to store Pictures, so it is a gigantic Work if we manually shall upload it all and change the blogs post and so on.
So this would be extremely helpfull to a lot of the users.
Otherwise we Loose a lot of material once servers are closed or Companies go broke and close the servers.

Secon wish is less practical, just a wish, that on the blog overview it will be writte numer of views on each project like it is on the Projects over view.
In this way it is more easy to see where we should look when the activity are high.

Hey Mads, I agree with you about the picture auto-loading thing.

I have a lot of pictures on this site that are stored elsewhere and if those sites ever go away, so do the pictures. I guess this is especially a thing with blogs, or long posts that contain a blog like description.

It would be an easy bit of code to write.

Ohh yes and a print page function would also be a gift.

Hi Mads:

Can you not do this with the "Tool Bar" on your Computer by clicking on "Print Preview" and if you're satisfied with it. Click on "Print"? (Assuming you have a visible "Tool Bar")

I can also "Right Click" and choose "Print Preview" Or "Print" and get the same results as above.

Somehow ever, they change the Layout of the page when you use either of those methods. (As Below)

Perhaps you are referring to a different Aspect of "Printing" than what I've shown.
