I’m amazingly impressed by these router collets that I just purchased as replacements for the stock collets on my Porter Cable 7518 router. I wanted to step up the precision of my setup, as the stock Porter Cable collets had more runout than I desired. So after hearing about these ER collets sold by, I purchased ones in 1/4” and 1/2” size. I’m not sure how little runout these collets have. I can’t measure anything that small. I find none ...

Typical Woodpeckers solid device, here. It’s a corner jig for rounded corners, as well as a chamfer jig for corners. There are 12 different sizes for rounded corners, from 1/4” to 1-1/2”, and 6 different sizes for chamfered corners, from 1/4” to 1-1/2” The jig is solidly milled out of aluminum, with generous tabs for clamping to your workpiece, as well as a solid stable surface for your router to rest on. I just got back home from attending Charles Neil’s Finishing workshop at his shop in New Market, Virginia (which may not be the end of the Earth, but you can see it from there. ;) The workshop was three days, giving him an opportunity to lecture us on many topics, and more importantly gave us plenty of hands-on time to spray finishes, screw up, and more importantly learn from our mistakes how to do it correctly.
