Good morning! I was wondering if your members had any advice for me. We recently had lightening strike and kill (according to the town arborist) a 200+ yr old live oak next to our home. We are told we need to remove it. While one part of the tree is clearly dying, another has not but cannot survive once the affected part is removed. So…I wonder if the tree, once removed, can be milled or repurposed in any way. I would hate to waste a life so beautiful. Thoughts, please? Thanks so very much.

Have your say...
