Location: western wisconsin river falls actually

after 25 years of working in kitchens and playing with my food I am now playing with wood. All those tree forts are coming back to haunt me. I work for a custom wood garage door company and I play in my garage shop, 14 X 20. I am very fortunate to have an abundance of western red cedar at my disposal, along with some other woods. One thing that I try and do is build using hand tools, I believe that if I can produce using traditional ways then all the better. I am a scrapper meaning that if I can get away with out spending money then I will, (it also keeps me wifey happy)

It’s always a pleasure welcoming another Wisconsinite to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I love this site, I hope you will enjoy it too.

Look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

Congrats on your first anniversary of being an LJ… keep the projects coming, we all gain experience from each other and the best way of doing that is keeping the projects and ideas coming…
