I have to start by saying I love woodworking, even the dust! I have been at it for over 30 years now. My first power tool was an orange Black and Decker 1/4" router, which I still have. My tool collection has slowly increased over the years. A lathe is about the only major woodworking power tool that I currently do not own. The latest addition to my shop is a Craftsman mortiser which was used to build a set of kitchen chairs. I always seem to be learning new things about this wonderful hobby. This web site is awesome. I enjoy looking at all of the projects that are posted. I am hoping to learn new things about woodworking and connecting with people who have the same interest.

Another Wisconsin guy, cool! Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

With Christmas quickly approaching I wanted to make some palm boxes as gifts. I had saved Andy’s palm box tutorial in my favorites, but when I tried to view it nothing came up but the comments from other Lumberjocks. If anyone can access this blog I would appreciate some info on how to view it.

Does anyone know where I can purchase sandpaper for a Palmgren Model 81318 drum sander?
