My shop is a stick built 32’x16’. We did the complete construction ground up in March of 15’. I built my own trusses and hung them as well. I decided to put it on piers due to the high cost of concrete at the time. I ran electricity to it and have 25+ plugs and (2) 220V circuits. There is currently no plumbing because I do not see the need for it. We also built the shop on a budget and I scavenged a good bit of the material for low prices, without compromising on structural integrity.

You’ll figure out soon enough that you should have built it bigger, but for now we’ll let you get used to having such a great place to work in! :-)

And WELCOME to LJs !

Awesome shop Will. How far do your piers go down into the ground? I am working on the design for my shop when I retire.

Thanks
Craig
