Thanks for the kind welcome. I live in the U.K. the land of few specialist wood work stores. I am just fettling up my 40 year old planes. Some deserve new handles and totes. They are either Record or Stanley (made in the U.K.)
I do a lot of woodturning, I build electric guitars for an almost non paying hobby, and I love routers. I hope to gain from this forum and hope to add to it also. I am a 59 year old technology teacher in a State Grammar school. I specialise in wood and metal work teaching, but use CAD CAM, lasers, advanced paperfolding and graphics.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
