This is my shop, its 9×20 and has all i can ask for. Except for maybe some window, maybe a bathroom or a spray booth but let’s not get greedy, I’m lucky to have all that I’ve got

Wilterbeast, this looks like you have put together a pretty nice shop. Your shop looks to be efficiently arranged and you have utilized the space that you have available. You also have put together a nice collection of tools to play with.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed taking a tour of your shop.

That dust collector doesn’t do a bad job but its small, i only really use it for the jointer and planner. I also use it as a vacuum cleaner. My shop so small i can sweep it in like 2 min then just use the DC to suck it up!

Many of us are glad to have a “one car garage” space, and it can be made to work very well. This summer, when the weather turns nicer, go ahead and add that window. A little natural light is a real plus. I’ve also found that adding some incandescent lights with the fluorescent helps to boost the color rendering index.

It’s also a good idea to listen to Henry Ford’s advice, “You can have your shop any color so long as it’s white.” (Well, if he didn’t say something like that he should have.)
