Here’s a pair of videos where I unbox and demonstrate the usage of a Parallel Fence for a sliding table saw.

A parallel fence allows you to use the sliding table to perform rips on the left side of the blade.

-- Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with an Hammer.
