When using a slider, clamping your work to the sliding table is important when you are working with larger pieces.

I use two different clamps: A Felder clamp, which is a beast and is somewhat unwieldy; and a pair of re-purposed DeWalt track clamp, which are quick and easy but have their limits.

-- Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with a Hammer.

Thanks for the video comparison. The Felder clamp is a monster.
Cool video and maybe some DeWalt clamps are in my future.

If you have deep pockets, there are aftermarket pneumatic clamps. But then you have to deal with air lines. If I was running a professional shop, it would be a consideration.
