My last blog was about my broken wrist…... Well I’m still in a cast but I have found  that it is only a minor hindrance restricting movement a little but I can generally work around it…...  Tomorrow I’m off to demonstrate for three days at the timber and working with wood show, with other members of the Sydney Woodturners guild. I’ve demonstated for quite a few years now but this is the first time at such a big venue, so I’m both excited and a little nervouse….. So many people comming to see beautiful woodwork and how it’s done plus all the fulltime professional woodworkers & Woodturners that I look up to.
I plan on doing a couple of boxes, a couple of burl bowls (one of which will have a natural edge), a silky oak vase around 10×8 inches and if i can pick up a few interesting natural back/edge Burl slices I’ll do some platters or wall hangings…....... Well that’s the plan anyway! Let’s see what happens, if I’m assured of any thing it’s that i’ll have a ball …..... Broken wrist or not!
