I am just starting out in woodworking. I took it up in high school 25 years ago but stopped doing after graduating. My wife loves old style, primitive furniture and she asked me one day to build her a pie cabinet, or pie safe to some. So she bought the plans online and with the few tools I do have(a used table saw from my wife's uncle, router and a few hand tools) I proceeded to build her cabinet. Being my first project, I think it came out pretty nice. Best of all she seems to really like it! So that has really got me wanting to build and learn more.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
