I'm a relatively new woodworker; I started in a Harbor Freight-based workshop, in my two car attached garage, in early spring of 2018. I was inspired after seeing my son (who had no prior experience) build a simple Farm-style side table for his dining room. I'm also getting close to retirement, and I needed a hobby.
Turns out that my new hobby came along at the perfect time. During the pandemic, being home all the time provided lots of time to build my skill set in the shop.
I'm married (36 years), and we have three adult children, and (so far) two grandchildren. We live in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
