In my younger years - although only 28 now - I was much more active in woodworking, and other creative work with my hands. Fast forward almost a decade and now I am married, two babies under the age of two - no time at all for anything like that anymore!

But after a few years like this, I am going crazy! I need to get back into it, but don't know where to start and don't remember much of anything I used to know!

Help, LumberJocks!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

welcome to LJ’s. You’ll find everything PLUS on this site. I read your blog. Glad you’re doing better now. I guess the best thing to do is just what you’re doing….....take one step at a time. One foot in front of the other, etc.. just take your time. Hope all works out

I have 2 kids too and love every moment of it but… Like you very little time for woodworking.
If you happen to be in the bay area, I know a couple of places that might be of interest in helping you restart.

Welcome to LJ.
