A month ago I embarked on a project to carve frame shapes around a mirror frame and make what we can call a sunburst Mirror. With the help of John Smith and others on Lumberjokes i managed to come up with something as seen below.

The sunburst it outstanding and looks like a lot of work.
How long did this carving take?
Anyone would like to see their reflection in this mirror!
I wonder what that would look like with a “bronze” reflection mirror!

@oldnovice,
it took me a whole day(6am to 8pm) to carve one
piece and sand it nicely changing grit from 80 to 400. So it took two days to carve the whole and sand. The project took me a week. i dont have access to gold leaf and i just sprayed gold paint
