Well it’s been about decade since my last blog post. Have retired, been ill, relocated, built a house, built a small shop, and spent the last year refurbing all my tools amid the pandemic. They did not do well during the move and storage. I upgraded my old Powermatic TS from 3phase 2hp to single phase 3hp. Disassembled and de-rusted my old Rockwell 13” planer. It’s working really well with new blades. Lots of rust throughout my hand hand and power tools. I live in the tropics now. The whole process has been kinda like Christmas opening boxes and rediscovering tools I had forgotten.

I’ve completed a few small projects during the tool refurb stage and now I think I’ll do a couple tables.

Well Hi. Is that a box or a wall-hanging?

It’s a wall hanging.

I neglected to say that I like it a lot. I always liked bookmatching. That is beautiful wood used well.
