Well this is my shop. It’s aprx 10×30 in size and as you can tell a little crammed with tools. The pictures tend to make it appear smaller than it is however it is a bit messy as you can well see but that being said it’s a great place to spend a weekend and from time to time a great place to smoke a cigar or two while catching up on reading the latest wodd crafter catalog. What you can’t see right above the entrance is a bunch of funny cards my wife has given me over the years along with a clock that is shaped like a hot dog. This wall of funny is there to remind me not to take myself too seriously and to remember to laugh and enjoy working. We have 3 cats and a dog who will come visit me from time to time and I always take the time to stop and pet them before they go on their way… silly I know but it keeps me centered.

That’s a nice looking shop Ray, we have some of the same equipment. I also have the funny card/photo wall and dogs that hang out in the shop. The cat has to stay away from the shop but she sleeps curled up against my chest every night. I also spend some very peaceful moments staying busy in the shop.

Ray, this is a nice shop that you have to work in. I have always thought that having a stand alone shop is the way to go. And your wood floor is much easier to work on than concrete. It appears as if you have effectively utilized the space that you have available.

You also have some nice tools to play with.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Hey Ray,
Cool set-up with some nice toys…but is there any chance of putting the DC outside to reduce the dust.

I like the separate building you have for your shop and it looks like you have made good use of your space. I have two black labs that I let come and go in my shop. One of them is only a couple of years old and I have to watch what she gets into. I have lost several pieces of wood to the backyard I did not want to part with. But I would not change a thing.

Love the shop! Just a reminder, pets, unfortunately are with us only a short time. Enjoy them while you have them with you still…
