Grew up on 5 acres next to Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Akron and Cleveland in N.E. Ohio. Started very early working with my dad in his landscaping and tree removal business. 12 years heavy construction, 30 years working for the State of Ohio at a psych hosp. in Building Maintenance (a.k.a. fix whatever breaks.) Moved to Las Vegas, currently working at The Orleans, a hotel and casino, as an engineer (a.k.a. fix whatever breaks.)
Interests have included; photography, local history of Akron and Summit County, Ohio, fireworks, wife and family, computer stuff (surfing and CAD,) and now woodworking. The intensity and order vary from day to day.
Now age is catching up with me, back pain and knees are shot.
I've set up a little shop in the garage and like many others have started making very expensive sawdust.
