Garage Workbench #1: Rough Structure
I put treated wood sideways touching concrete to stop any moisture traveling. I measured my desired finial height, subtracted my 2×4 and table top so I could snap a line down the whole wall. Ran the uglier 2×4’s as a toeboard so the top was easy to mount. I built in my DeWalt radial arm saw. It barely fits under my overhead lumber storage. The workbench is built at two heights. The left is for tool work (drill press, band saw, grinder, sander) as these tools have an elevated work height already. The right section is for stock handling.
