Decided to wait on the lathe :)
I’ve thought about this a lot and I decided that I am not quite ready to work with a lathe yet. I’ve only been at this wood working thing half a year now, and I always want to run before I learn to crawl, lol, so I decided to hold off...

Welcome to LJ. There is nothing you can do about wood allready cut down except make something out of it so it is not burned. Dont worry about is as long as you dont go cut down trees in the rain forest your good to go.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am still trying to figure out how things work, but I think I’m getting a little better. I had a bit of a mix up in my projects, got my pictures crossed, so some of the comments are a little confusing. :) I’m learning.
