Hi Folks, thanks for the hearty welcome, I think I need to rewire my 'brain' ,as I lost
my password again, and had to start all over again, new user name, from Torpidhummer
to Sawhetowl, hopefully I have everything right this time.

Now I have a question, I getting ready get rid of my Steel City Bandsaw as it has been nothing
but trouble since I bought it. I carve Birds of Prey, therefore I basically use a bandsaw to cut
out my bird patterns, requiring a throat height of 6'',and cutting around tight curves. I have been
checking out Grizzly 14' Deluxe G055 Model what is your take on this model, or what bandsaw of
    similarity would you recommend.?
    Thanks, Oscar.

Thanks all for the hearty welcome, seven years ago I moved back to California from Oregon
and purchased a mobile home in Mobile home Par, first I did was build me a work shop
limited space. But most retirees I am always building something, all small of course, along with
a few "honey dos", but most of the time, I' carving realistic, falcon, hawks or owls of which
    is very relaxing for me.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your birds. I would love to try my hand at carving birds. I love to go to the Smoky Mountains and one thing I love to see the most is all of the beautiful birds in the various gift shops around there.
