You will need to know the tread size for your lathe in order to get the correct chuck that will fit.

hey bosshog – you posted re: your lathe a long time ago. did you get it sorted out? use it? like it? i am a lathe newbie and i have an opportunity to buy the Fisch TC90-100 new in the box for 150 bucks. sound like a deal to you? not so sure the added expense of chuck and other tools is something i can manage… any feedback appreciated!

The lathe is worth $150, but only if you can get the chucks and tools. Start simple and make sure you enjoy turning before getting a full complement of chucks and tools.
