Jet Air Filtration Filters

Currently I am using Merv 6 filters that run 4.99, however they clog up so quickly with dust that I have to change them quite frequently. I periodically beat the dust off of them and occasionally blow it off with compressed air. I am wondering if anybody has a suggestions for a washable/reuseable filter that is fairly low cost alternative to what I am doing currently?

Here is the site I had purchased them from previously Filters-Now I bought the Accumulair Emerald ones. They were the cheapest I found and shipping was quick, but still not as nice as if I can find a 30 dollar reuseable type or something.

I’ve stuck with the Jet washable filters on my unit. I change it out about once a month, take it out back and wash it with the hose. I have two filters that I bought with the unit in 2001 or 02 and they’re still good.
