Do you folks have room for a new guy? I recently found out about this forum and thought I would sign up. Hopefully I can expand my skills and learn to take my work ability to another level. I have mainly been doing crafts for 25 years. I am pretty much a scroll saw junkie doing a lot of intarsia for quite awhile now. I have made some coffee tables and end tables and those would have been the largest projects I have made. Once I figure out how to post some pictures I will add them in the appropriate sections of this forum.
It will be nice to get to know some of you folks.

Always room for a new one. The main requirement here is to be obsessed with real wood and enjoy talking about it. It’s kind of like AA without any attempt to get over the addiction.

Welcome to Lumberjocks

Yes. We even have a few laughs Now & Then. THAT’S what my Intro was all about!

As Topamax said , be careful It’s addictive on here!

If you need any help just Post it on this Forum probably. Or if it’s Related to any of the Other Forums (Tools, Safety, Turning Etc Post it there.

If I can be of any specific help, just click on my Avatar (Merlin) that takes you to My Home Page (Same with all others) You’ll see “Send A Message” Also known as a “PM”. Click on that, the “Form” will come up, enter your Message, Hit “Send”

It should only take you a Year or so to figure it all out …LOL… (Just Kidding).

Hey, how did you get your post approved? I posted a new thread but it hadn’t been approved and I can’t post anything new until it is approved.

There’s plenty of chairs stacked in the corner, grab one pull it up and take a seat, plenty of room, but please no woodpeckers :)

Welcome Heywood. We always have room for another woodworker. it sounds like you could teach some of about intarsia!.
the pictures on projects are real easy to post ( up to 6) just by browsing your file and adding them. For responses to topics and to add pictures you need to be signed up for Photobucket( it’s free), add them to that file and then insert them in your text. Play with it and you catch on!!

This is addicting. I’m on here all day long when I need a break from the shop..heck of a lot better than commercial TV .................Jim
