What's The Name Of This Thing

Just what it says a wheel weight tool. It’s used to remove and install wheel wieghts when balancing wheels and tires.

While I’ve never owned one, I have seen them used at the tire shop. Unless I miss my guess, it’s a tool for installing and removing wheel balancing weights on automobile wheels.

It’s missing the hard rubber on the face of the striking surface that keeps you from beating up your rims.

So I’m assuming you would use the hook part to pry off the weight, and then the ’’hammer’’ part would be for installing the weight?

never saw or used one with a hard rubber face. They were all just straight metal.

Never seen one with rubber on it, I’ve used a bunch of these.

If I may be so presumptuous, I think Mantwi is thinking of a different tool with a pry bar coupled with a rubber mallet which is used for removing and installing hubcaps

BADA still makes wheel balancing stuff.

Now that’s funnier than what I always thought Bondo – Gaposiss was. (I think it’s funnier with you changing the B to a G)

Bondo = filler

Gaposiss (leaving out the female reference cuz that congers up a whole lot of even funier thoughts) is a condition of uncontrolled gap

Bondo + Gaposiss = gap filler
