Hey all,
There’s a guy selling a Delta 10” contractors saw with unifence, and out feed table for $275. He also has a 11-990 drill press with shopmade stand, extension and fence. Everything looks well maintained and in excellent condition. I’m thinking I might could get a deal on both. D’you think offering $300 for both would be an insult?

Probably not, but he is asking very fair prices for the tools, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the offer was rejected.

Maybe he will come back with another lower price for you. He can reject your offer and still not offend anyone.

Try offering but be prepared to pay something closer to what he wants. Those look like good tools in good shape and I’m betting the seller knows enough to have adjusted them very well.

That saw will probably be gone very soon…’s a sweet deal IMO. The DP is a solid deal too if you need one. I wouldn’t dicker…his items are priced to sell. In fact, if you want those, I’d tell him on the phone that you’ll give full price, and hope that no one beats you to them…just not worth losing them over a few bucks.

Im with Knotscott. Id be all over that saw for 275. The WWII blade it probably worth 125 right there.

I’d make a sonic boom going after that. There are times you just shut, pay the asking price, and say thank you.

I’d jump at those two for $350. I wouldn’t offer lower—very fair prices (low, actually).

Man, I wish I could say they are mine now, but I was too late. I’ve seen these stellar deals on killer tools before though. There’ll be another one…
