Just ordered a 513×2 Grizzly bandsaw. 10% off coupon, what should I get in way of blades? Will do general cutting along with resawing.

1/2” or 3/4” for resawing. Look at the wood slicer series sold by Highland Woodworking. I have had good luck with the Olson Pro Series Blades as well.

For general purpose a 1/4” or 3/8” will give you decent curve cutting ability.

I’m eyeing the same one. Can you tell me where to get the 10% coupon? I’ve been on the lookout and haven’t seen one.

Hey, I got A grizzly bandsaw too. The G0555LX. I’d be curious as well as to people’s recommendations on blades to snag.

1 inch for resawing is best, carbide tipped 1 inch even better get the 1/8 & 1/4 plus the carter stabilizer for bandsaw boxes and tight curves, timberwolf is what I used but I hear alot of peeps talking about the woodslicer, so I would just buy a 3/4 woodslicer for resawing, if it don’t work go to 1 inch, get a 1/2 for general work, have fun and make some dust write a review please

Grizzly comes with 1/2 in. blade. I’ll get 1/4 & 3/4. I saw a demo for Carter and was amazed.I will do a review in the future. Thanks
