Just curious if anyone has experience. At the end of the day they all probably come out of the same factory in Taiwan or China.

Price is $600

You’re right about the common source of import machines. I recently picked up a lightly used 20” Grizzly 1 1/2hp drill press for $175.00 so the price seems high to me. Here’s are links so you can compare apples to apples that may help you decide.

I bought avery similar machine for woodworking, and was absolutely amazed by how smooth it ran ,and also vibration free at the quill it had virtually zero runout and no wobble at all.It has various speed settings although I never change them as I use this only for wood. Designed though for both wood and metal . I rate it very highly and certainly I have had no problems. I paid around £400 plus delivery in Sterling Scottish money. Alistair
