Topic tags/keywords: burl red oak trade for sale barter lumber

I have five red oak burl slices. The burl was cut from the tree in1997 and cut into slices about four years ago. The slices are about 1/2” thick with some cracking probably due to improper drying. If you have never worked with burled lumber before you need to know it is very hard! The white spots in the pictures are rot, the longest pieces will need to be trimmed to fit in the box, but I didn’t want to do that prior to sale. The area next to the large hole is not very stable and might break off in the mail, I’ll try my best at packing. These would work great for small decorative projects like boxes. I used some to make some engraved plaques, the grain looked great. The black marks on the wood are from the band resaw that I used to make the slices. The flat rate shipping will cost $16.85 I would like to double that for a total cost of 33.70. I would be open to trade on old tools, bits, blades, or ?? Pics at:
labeled oak burl. PM me if interested.
